TV MOMS
TV Moms (New York, NY USA) is a loud, guitar-drums, gutter rocknroll band.
Ok, not all the songs are loud. There’s some singing in there, but not
vocal gymnastics. Bummer rock is a thing? But a little more sarcastic.
Riff-based guitar stuff that is really fun to play, even if you don’t play
guitar that much.
THE POCKET SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
HWA Records’ own TPSO are back with a new album due out any moment and are finally coming back out to play live. What better place than their own turf. Come and hear some of the new songs amongst a smattering of TPSO classics.
AIDS GRENADES
‘If you were under the impression that Punk had become plasticised in recent years, you may want to turn your attention to the Torquay, UK-based artist the AIDS Grenades.
With their latest single “Slimy Jamber” you’re served an undiluted offering of aural chaos which carried the same level of vulgarity as American Grindcore band AxCx along with some of the absurdity which you could expect from bands such as Green Jellÿ and Fantomas. While the track certainly isn’t for the fainthearted, those who appreciate brash Punk chords alongside a complete lack of lyrical restraint are sure to find plenty to appreciate in the experimentalism. JROWSY
He makes a lot of noise for one man! New on the local circuit, but building a bit of a reputation as a class act: JROWSY’s songs are catchy as hell and perfect for dancing to.
